about

I am currently a Data Scientist in Essen, Germany. I have a PhD in Economics and work at the Research Data Center of the RWI Leibniz Institute for Economic Research as a researcher focusing on housing markets, urban economics, and the evaluation of environmental factors. I am passionate about dealing with all kinds of data - the more, the better. I work with R but also use Python to tackle data challenges.

My motto: Don't stand still. I am always keen to learn new tools. So, I am also currently diving into HTML, SQL, and the world of data pipelines.

I presented my work at several international conferences. We might have already met.

CEnSE Urban and Regional Economics Workshop. November 2022, Gothenburg (Sweden)

North American Meeting of the Urban Economics Association (UEA). October 2022, Washington DC (USA)

European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE). July 2022, Rimini (Italy)

Spring Meeting of Young Economists (SMYE). June 2022, Orléans (France)

European Meeting of the Urban Economics Association (UEA). March 2022, London (UK)

I also work on expanding my knowledge constantly and pursue some additional qualifications.
